  • The Novel

I am currently seeking literary representation for my debut novel, Kaleidoscope Me — the story of a woman who learns, too late, that leaving home was both a gift and a debt.

"I am at my favorite spot in the plane: by the window... I am on my way to an adventure, no, on my way to The Adventure."

Currently under consideration at literary magazines.

I have taught at Georgetown, Stanford, NYU, the University of Chicago, and Parsons Paris, designing original courses on film, religion, postcolonialism, and climate change.

FILM & DIGITAL STORYTELLING

I trained as a filmmaker at Harvard and worked in the Mumbai film industry before directing and producing my own film about truck drivers. This documentary, Carriers screened internationally and sold to European television.

I worked on Steve Buscemi's Lonesome Jim in the production department before I started to shoot in India for my dissertation.  My doctoral research, a multimedia reworking of the Mahabharata, is now archived at Stanford University Libraries.
